Joseph Reilly

Joseph Reilly, a retired inner-city senior high school teacher, addresses the challenges that face the Church in its battle with secularism in today’s culture.

Joseph Reilly spent 39 years teaching inner-city senior high school students until his retirement in 1999. His radio program, Sounds of the Jubilee, is based on a course he developed during his tenure as a teacher. The course drew heavily on Catholic philosophy and was reported by returning students as the one that best prepared them for life and college. As a result, he was nominated for Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year by three different principals and won numerous outstanding teaching awards.

Mr. Reilly has broadcasted over 250 half-hour programs that incorporated material from religion, philosophy, psychology, sociology, biology, history, and his own personal experiences.
